This new portrait by Ranald Mackechnie shows The Queen seated in the Victoria Vestibule, Windsor Castle which is part of the private apartments. Captured in the background are the Castle?s Round Tower and the statue of King Charles II which stands in the quadrangle at the Castle. Her Majesty?s outfit is an Angela Kelly coat and dress in a dusky dove blue fabric of wool Charmelaine embellished with pearl and diamante trim around the neckline and cascading down the front of the coat.
