Since 2008, we have delivered complete lifecycle engineering support for Canada’s fleet of Victoria Class Submarines, including platform design, integration, configuration, management services, and maintenance and waterfront support.
For over 14 years, Babcock and our Team Victoria-Class partners, Seaspan Victoria Shipyards and BMT, are proud to be Canada’s long-standing partner in delivering the Victoria In-Service Support Contract, one of the largest naval in-service support contracts in Canada.
Through an integrated approach, our team has leveraged both its Canadian expertise and global experience to bring together key stakeholders and develop unparalleled Victoria Class Submarine platform knowledge. In-service support provided to the Royal Canadian Navy can include deep maintenance, short work periods, and interim docking periods.

Our highly skilled workforce carries out significant through-life maintenance activities, developing uniquely Canadian expertise and contributing significantly to Canada’s economic development.
Through the Victoria In-Service Support Contact programme, we are helping to create a Canadian centre of excellence for servicing and maintaining submarines.
Building on over a century of supporting naval systems and surface and subsurface platforms, we combine Canadian talent and expertise with a global network of experienced professionals for:
